I’m not sure yet. But I think I am going to work September 11th instead of going to the dedication. I am still on the fence about it but I think that Derek would understand. September 11th is the most sacred day on this job. September 11th is when we lost 343 firefighters. Sept 11th is what led to me losing my friend. I think the day would be more meaningful to both of us if I was sitting on engine 3 in west Akron, Ohio. I might be able to work the east side that day in which we could take the ladder up there. But I dunno. I really want to be there. But I really feel like I should be at work. Derek missed a lot of things. I just don’t know. Sounds stupid I guess but I’m torn on what to do.
